Box Score Virginia Union University's Marcel Crump scored a team-high 18 points while teammate Kimar Johnson had a double-double to power VUU to a 72-49 win over Saint Thomas Aquinas College on Sunday, December 30, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Johnson had 14 points and 10 rebounds as Union surged to their second win on the season.

VUU's Wesley Simmons also scored 11 points for the Panthers.

Saint Thomas Aquinas was led by T.J. Jones' 11 points.

The win raised VUU's record to 2-6 on the season while Saint Thomas Aquinas fell to 1-9.

Virginia Union now faces Livingstone College at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
