Virginia Union University's Damion Harris had 29 points and 10 rebounds, but Augusta State University pulled out a 73-67 win over the Panthers in Barco-Stevens Hall on Sunday, December 2, in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Wesley Simmons added 13 points while Xavier Carter had seven rebounds.

Augusta State was led by Ryan Weems' 19 points and Chad July's 11 rebounds.

The loss drops VUU to 0-4 on the season while Augusta State is now 4-0.

Virginia Union now travels to Takoma Park, Md., to face Washington Adventist University at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5.
