Wesley Simmons added 11 points in the game while Harris had a game-high 14 rebounds.
Winston-Salem State was led by Justin Glover's 18 points.
The loss dropped VUU to 1-6 overall and 0-1 in the CIAA. Winston-Salem State is now 8-2 overall and 1-0 in the CIAA.
VUU now faces Saint Thomas Aquinas College at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
