Damion Harris scored 15 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead VUU to a 79-75 win over Chowan University on Saturday, January 28, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
The win was the fifth straight for the Panthers.

Chowan was led in scoring by Kyree Bethel's 23 points.
The win raised VUU's record to 11-10 overall and 6-3 in the CIAA. The win also kept Virginia Union tied with Bowie State University for first place in the Northern Division of the CIAA.
Chowan fell to 7-15 overall and 1-9 in CIAA play.
VUU now travels to Lincoln Univeristy, Pa., to face Lincoln (Pa.) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 30.
