Virginia Union University's Braxton Byerson scored 25 points to lead VUU to a 62-48 win over Lincoln University on February 19 in Lincoln University, Pa.

Braxton eight of 22 shots from the field while teammate Justin Ramsey had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

VUU's Juan Wilson also added 10 points in the win.

Lincoln was led by Denzel Mooney's 23 points and Terron Jones' seven rebounds.

The win raised VUU to 13-7 overall and 11-4 in the CIAA.  Lincoln dropped to 3-20 overall and 1-14 in the CIAA.

VUU now travels to Bowie, Md., to face Bowie State University on February 21.
