Wayne Ford added 15 as VUU beat Saint Paul's 81-68 on February 10 in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
The loss avenged a loss to Saint Paul's earlier in the season.
VUU's
Gregory Redford returned to the line-up for the first time in over a month and scored 14 points in the win. Teammate
Branden McDonald also scored 12 points while
Justin Ramsey grabbed eight rebounds for the Panthers.
Saint Paul's was led by Kendrick Williams and Ramel Belfield, who scored 14 points apiece. Saint Paul's Ibn Rassoull had 10 rebounds in the game.
The win raised VUU's record to 11-7 overall and 9-4 in CIAA play. Saint Paul's dropped to 7-13 overall and 4-10 in the CIAA.
Virginia Union will now face Chowan Unversity on February 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Barco-Stevens Hall.
