Harris Named to USC-Aiken All-Classic Team

Box Score Virginia Union University's Damion Harris was named to the All-Classic Team of the 2011 Southeastern Tool-Don Cheeks-Dr. John Riley USC Aiken Pre-Holiday Classic after scoring 11 points in VUU's 81-62 loss to the University of South Carolina Aiken on Saturday, December 17, in Aiken, S.C.

Harris also pulled down a team-high nine rebounds in the game.

VUU was led in scoring by Juan Richards' 12 points. Richards also had three blocks.

South Carolina Aiken was led by Classic MVP Re'Mon Nelson's 14 points.

The loss dropped VUU to 5-7 on the season while South Carolina Aiken is now 8-1.

Virginia Union now returns home to face South Carolina Aiken again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
