Box Score Virginia Union University's Calvin Brown scored 16 points, but Central State University defeated VUU 79-70 on Tuesday, December 13, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Brown hit six of 10 shots from the field, including two three point shots in the game.

VUU's Joshua Miller scored 11 points while Brown had a team-high five rebounds.

Central State was led by Greg Rice's 24 points.

The loss dropped VUU to 5-5 on the season while Central State is now 6-5.

Virginia Union now travels to Aiken, S.C., to compete in the 2011 Southeastern Tool-Don Cheeks-Dr. John Riley USC Aiken Pre-Holiday Classic.  VUU plays Lenoir-Rhyne University at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 16 and then the University of South Carolina-Aiken on Saturday, December 17 at 3:00 p.m.
