Box Score Virginia Union University's Damion Harris was named Team MVP while teammate Juan Wilson was honored for his high Grade Point Average after VUU downed Allen University 83-64 on the second day of the Johnson C. Smith University Tip-Off Classic on November 19 in Charlotte, N.C.

In VUU's first game of the Classic, Harris had a team-high 23 points and nine rebounds in VUU's 84-79 loss to Wingate University.

On the second day against Allen, VUU's Jamaal Blalock led the Panthers with 16 points while teammate Calvin Brown added 13 points in the win.

Harris had a team-high eight rebounds and six points.

VUU is now 2-2 and returns home for their regular-season home opener against Holy Family University at 1:00 p.m. on November 26.
