Braxton Byerson who scored 12 points apiece, but Johnson C. Smith University stopped the Panthers 73-67 on January 17 in Charlotte, N.C.

Wilson, Ford and
Justin Ramsey grabbed seven rebounds apiece for the Panthers.
Johnson C. Smith was led in scoring by Trevin Parks, who scored 26 points.
The loss dropped VUU to 6-5 overall and 4-2 in CIAA play.
Johnson C. Smith raised it's record to 10-4 overall and 6-0 in CIAA play.
