The Virginia Union University women's bowling team hosted it's first-ever bowling match over the weekend of November 5-7 at Bowl America Southeast in Midlothian, Va. Teams from the entire CIAA Northern Division participated in the event.
The Lady Panthers finished fifth in the match with a team record of 5-7 and a total pinnage of 3,058 pins.
Bowie State University won the match with a perfect 12-0 record while Elizabeth City State was second with a 10-2 record.
Saint Paul's College was third and Virginia State was fourth.
Lincoln was sixth and Chowan was seventh.

Kristan Clay recorded the highest score of the match for the Lady Panthers by bowling a 162 on the second day of the tournament.
