Alexis Jackson Earns All-CIAA Bowling Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – Virginia Union University senior Alexis Jackson has been named to the 2026 All-CIAA Bowling Team, it was announced during the awards reception at the CIAA Bowling Championship on Thursday, March 19, in Richmond.

Jackson earned All-CIAA honors after posting a 180.66 scoring average per game during the 2025-26 season, finishing sixth overall in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association individual standings.

"Despite the team having a rebuilding season, Alexis Jackson repeats as a member of the CIAA all-conference team," said Virginia Union Head Bowling Coach James Washington. "She finished sixth overall in the CIAA. I am very proud of how she bowled this season, especially with all the new girls depending on her to carry the team. She handled the pressure wonderfully. This is her last year and she will be missed."

Jackson provided consistent leadership for the Panthers throughout the season, delivering strong performances while helping guide a young Virginia Union squad through a rebuilding campaign. Her repeat selection to the All-CIAA team highlights her impact both as a competitor and as a veteran presence for the program.

With her final season concluding, Jackson leaves a lasting mark on the Virginia Union bowling program as one of the conference's top performers.
