Richmond, VA- Virginia Union University (12-3, 7-2 CIAA) increased their winning streak over Elizabeth City State University 80-71. It was a night dedicated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation sponsored by the Student-Athletic-Advisor Committee in Barco-Steven's gym.
Three out of five starters for Va. Union scored in double-points.
Gregg Thondique led the team with 22 points going nine-of-seventeen from the field and four-for-seven at the foul line.
Other starters,
Branden McDonald had 13 points while
Braxton Byerson had 16 points and four rebounds.
