(Richmond, VA – January 15, 2009) Panthers down the Bears of Livingstone College 72-69. Va. Union's Greg Thondique had team high 25 points, 16 rebounds. Greg shot 7-12 from the foul line and walked away from the game with three block shots.

After having a low scoring first half Braxton Byerson finished the game with 15 points and eight rebounds.

The Panthers will be playing in the Freedom Classic January 18, 2009 against Virginia State University. The game is schedule to be play at 7:30pm at the Richmond Coliseum.
