HEAD COACH JAY BUTLER ON THE WIN:
"After the loss to Bluefield State, I challenged the guys to come out and do what we do defensively," said VUU Head Men's Basketball Coach
Jay Butler. "Defending is our #1 thing. The guys took pride in getting stops early today, and it was just a total team effort. I was so excited to getting back to Barco after being on the road for six straight games, and I think the guys were excited about playing at home. But when we play defense, we're pretty hard to beat."
