Virginia Union University's women's cross-country team competed in the VUU Fall Cross-Country Opener on Friday, September 18.

VUU's Kayla Lee was the top finisher, completing the five-kilometer course in a time of 27:20.8.

"We are building and we are getting better every meet," said VUU Head Cross Country Coach Franck Charles.  "I am proud of them. It was great to host our first home meet since 2015 . We would like to thank everyone that came out to support us."
