Virginia Union University's Kayla Lee ran a personal best time of 7.84 seconds in finals of the 60-meter dash at the VMI Team Challenge on Saturday, December 3, in Lexington, Va.

VUU's Jade Lane and Benae Johnson also made the finals of the long jump.

"Congratulations to Kayla for making the finals in the 60 meters," said VUU Head Women's Track and Field Coach Charles Franck,  "She ran her personal best time of 7.84 in the 60m final.  Congratulations to Jade Lane and Benee Johnson for making the finals in the long jump.  Way to go!"

Virginia Union will now travel to Salem, Va., to compete in the Cregger Invitational at Roanoke College on Friday, December 9, and Saturday, December 10.
