Jade Lane placed fourth in the women's long jump while teammate
Kayla Lee finished fourth in the women's 200 meters at the Bast-Cregger Invitational, held on Saturday, December 10, in Salem, Va.
VUU's
Jamara Watson placed third in the women's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.43 seconds.
"I am certainly happy the way we performed shows that our team is coming along well," said VUU Head Track & Field Coach Franck Charles. "We just have to keep on working and everything will fall in place for us. Thank you to my coaching staff for all their hard work."
Virginia Union will now travel to Virginia Beach, Va., to compete in the VCU Indoor Invitational, to be held on Sunday, January 8.
