Virginia Union University's volleyball team will meet Fayetteville State University in the quarterfinals of the 2022 CIAA Championship Tournament at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, in Fayetteville, N.C.

The Lady Panthers enter the Tournament as the #6 seed whereas Fayetteville State enters as the #3 seed.

"I feel our ladies have worked hard to prep for this moment in time," said VUU Head Volleyball Coach Joe Sullivan.  "We are excited to compete with the best in our conference."

The top eight teams will look to battle for the 2022 CIAA Volleyball Championship. The Quarterfinals will be hosted on the campus of the top four seeds on Monday, November 7, 2022, with advancing teams playing in the semi-finals on Friday, November 11 in Salem, Virginia at the Salem Civic Center. The championship match will take place on Saturday, November 12th.

The 2022 CIAA Volleyball Championship at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, VA is free and open to the public. Patrons looking to attend quarterfinal matches will need to follow the policy of each host institution.
