Virginia Union University's Jade Lane had 10 kills as the Lady Panthers swept Lincoln University of Pennsylvania 25-18, 25-20, 25-18 on Monday, October 24, at Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

The win moved VUU into third place in the CIAA Northern Division with two matches left to play.

Virginia Union's Ashlee Franklin had 19 assists while teammate Amilex Lopez-Ayala recorded 17 defensive digs.

"Our ladies are starting to come together," said VUU Head Volleyball Coach Joe Sullivan. "I'm really proud of their energy level and fire!  Got to keep focused on discipline play to get ready for Thursday!"

Virginia Union will travel to Petersburg, Va., to face Virginia State University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27.
