Virginia Union University's Amilex Lopez-Ayala led the Lady Panthers with eight kills and four service aces as VUU swept Lincoln University of Pennsylvania 25-12, 25-21, 25-13 on Monday, November 1, in Lincoln University, Pa.
 
VUU's Alaysia Miller had a block while teammate Denise Burk had 15 assists in the win.
 
Virginia Union's Maysun Creery collected 11 defensive digs to keep the Lions at bay.
 
The win was the second consecutive sweep for the Lady Panthers, who had also downed Bowie State University 3-0 on Thursday, October 28.  The win marked the first back-to-back sweep since VUU turned the trick against Lincoln and Bowie State during the 2018 season.
 
Virginia Union wraps up the 2021 home season when it meets Virginia State University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, at Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
