Box Score Virginia Union University's Akira Baker had 15 defensive digs as the Lady Panthers defeated Elizabeth City State University 25-20, 17-25, 25-22, 25-20 on Monday, November 6, in Elizabeth City, N.C.

VUU's Jayshil Oatley had 10 kills while teammate A'rmaria Wright had 20 assists.

Virginia Union's Minne Masoe also reached double-figures with 13 assists.

The win raised VUU's record to 15-9 overall and 8-7 in CIAA play.  Elizabeth City State fell to 2-23 overall and 2-13 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now returns home to face Chowan University in the Lady Panthers Senior Night at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
