Box Score Virginia Union University's Jamaica Adams had a season-high five service aces while teammate A'rmaria Wright had 10 assists to power VUU to a 25-20, 25-20, 25-22 sweep of Bowie State University on Monday, October 9, in Bowie, Md.

Adams' five service aces were the most by a Lady Panther this season.

Virginia Union's Ambryanna Moore had six kills to lead the VUU offense while Adams collected seven defensive digs.

VUU's Kodi Thacker led the Lady Panthers with four blocks.

The win evened Virginia Union's record to 7-7 overall and 5-5 in the CIAA.  Bowie State fell to 1-17 overall and 0-11 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now travels to Takoma Park, Md., to face Washington Adventist University at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10.
