Box Score Virginia Union University's Jayshil Oatley, Ambryanna Moore and Zaquae Downton had nine kills apiece to power VUU to a 25-21, 19-25, 25-21, 25-13 win over Elizabeth City State University on Thursday, October 5, in Barco-Steven Hall in Richmond, Va.

Moore and teammate Kodi Thacker had four blocks apiece while A'rmaria Wright collected 26 assists.

VUU's Akira Baker had 20 defensive digs and Minne Masoe had 17 defensive digs to go with four service aces.

The win raised the Lady Panthers' record to 6-7 overall and 4-5 in the CIAA.  Elizabeth City fell to 2-10 overall and 2-5 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now hits the road to meet Bowie State University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 9.
