Box Score PHOTO GALLERY | Virginia Union University's Akira Baker had a team-high 19 defensive digs as the Lady Panthers defeated Lincoln (Pa.) University 25-18, 25-14, 25-21 on Monday, October 23, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's A'rmaria Wright had 10 digs while teammate Jamaica Adams collected seven digs of her own.

Virginia Union's Kamryn Young had 10 kills in the win while Wright garnered 20 assists.

VUU's Kodi Thacker had three blocks in the sweep.

The win raised VUU's record to 11-9 overall and 6-7 in the CIAA.  Lincoln fell to 4-15 overall and 2-13 in CIAA play.

The win also kept the Lady Panthers in third place in the Northern Division of the CIAA, behind divisional leader Chowan University and Virginia State University.

Virginia Union returns to action at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, when the Lady Panthers host Regent University in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
