Box Score Virginia Union University's women's volleyball team swept Elizabeth City State University 25-5, 25-17, 25-15 on Senior Night on Monday, November 7, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Chelan Wongus.
For Wongus, it was a special addition to the night, Wongus' boyfriend surprised the senior with a marriage proposal after the seniors were introduced.
Wongus said yes!
In the match, Atkins and teammate
A'rmaria Wright had 17 assists apiece while
Akira Baker had 17 defensive digs.
Bethel had 13 kills while teammate
Ambryanna Moore added 12 kills in the win.
The win raised VUU's record to 14-9 overall and 9-6 in the CIAA. Â Elizabeth City State fell to 1-19 overall and 1-14 in CIAA play.
The Lady Panthers wrap up the 2016 regular season on Friday, November 11, when they travel to Murfreesboro, N.C., to face Chowan University.
