Box Score Virginia Union University's Ambryanna Moore had 10 kills to lead the Lady Panthers to a 25-12, 19-25, 25-18, 25-16 volleyball win over Bowie State University on Monday, October 31, in Bowie, Md.
 
VUU's Akira Baker recorded 14 defensive digs in the win while A'rmaria Wright had 32 assists.
 
Virginia Union's Taylor White had nine kills while Wright had 10 digs.
 
The win raised VUU's record to 13-9 overall and 8-6 in the CIAA.  The win also secured third place of the Northern Division of the CIAA.
 
Bowie State fell to 3-19 overall and 1-14 in CIAA play.
 
Virginia Union now returns home for the 2016 regular-season finale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, against Elizabeth City State University in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
