Box Score Virginia Union University's Jayshil Oatley had a game-high eight kills and 10 defensive digs as the Lady Panthers swept Elizabeth City State University 25-14, 25-15, 25-23 on Thursday, October 6, in Elizabeth City, N.C.

VUU's A'rmaria Wright collected 22 assists while teammate Kamryn Young had seven kills in the win.

Wright and VUU's Zaquae Downton each had four service aces.

The win raised VUU's record to 10-6 overall and 5-4 in CIAA play.  Elizabeth City State remained winless at 0-15 overall and 0-10 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now returns to Historic Barco-Stevens Hall to face Bowie State University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, in Richmond, Va.
