Box Score Virginia Union University's Jayshil Oatley and Ambryanna Moore had nine kills apiece as the Lady Panthers downed Saint Augustine's University 25-22, 25-23, 21-25, 25-18 on the second day of the CIAA Round-Up, held on Sunday, October 2, in Raleigh, N.C.

VUU's A'rmaria Wright had 29 assists while teammate Jamaica Adams had 19 defensive digs in the win.

Virginia Union's Akira Baker also collected 16 defensive digs in the match.

On Saturday, October 1, VUU lost to Shaw University 25-20, 25-10, 25-23 and then lost to Fayetteville State University 25-15, 25-18, 25-20 in Raleigh, N.C.

VUU is now 9-6 overall and third in the Northern Division of the CIAA with a 4-4 record.

Virginia Union now travels to Elizabeth City, N.C., to face Elizabeth City State University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6.
