Box Score Virginia Union University's Jayshil Oatley had seven kills and 12 defensive digs to lead the Lady Panthers to a 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 win over Lincoln (Pa.) University on Monday, October 24, in Lincoln University, Pa.

The match marked the 12th win for the Lady Panthers, the most for a VUU volleyball team since the 2006 team won 17 games.

VUU's Jamaica Adams had 12 defensive digs and four service aces while teammate A'rmaria Wright had 27 assists.

The win raised Virginia Union's record to 12-9 overall and 7-6 in the CIAA.  Lincoln fell to 5-19 overall and 4-10 in CIAA play.

The win also moved the Lady Panthers into third place in the Northern Division of the CIAA.

The Lady Panthers now travel to Bowie, Md., to meet Bowie State University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 31.
