VUU's A'rmaria Wright had 22 assists while Oatley had 10 defensive digs.

Virginia Union's Jamaica Adams had nine digs and Taylor White had six kills in the match.

The loss dropped VUU to 11-9 overall and 6-6 in the CIAA.  Chowan is now 16-7 overall and 12-2 in CIAA play.

The Lady Panthers now travel to Lincoln (Pa.) University to meet the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24, in Lincoln University, Pa.
