Box Score Virginia Union University's Jayshil Oatley had 10 kills in 19 total attacks to lead the Lady Panthers to a 25-8, 25-14, 25-12 sweep of Bowie State University on Monday, October 10, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

The win was the 11th of the season for the Lady Panthers, equaling the total wins of a year ago.

VUU's A'rmaria Wright had 20 assists while teammate Zaquae Downton had five service aces.

Virginia Union's Jamaica Adams had 12 defensive digs and four service aces.

The win raised VUU's record to 11-6 overall and 6-4 in CIAA play.  Bowie State fell to 3-13 overall and 1-10 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now travels to Petersburg, Va., to meet Virginia State University on Monday, October 17, at 6:00 p.m.
