Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 Virginia Union University's Arianna Bethel had 14 kills to power VUU to a 23-25, 25-18, 19-25, 25-9, 15-11 win over Fayetteville State University on the first day of the CIAA Volleyball Round-Up in Lincoln University, Pa., on Saturday, October 31.

Overall, Bethel had 35 kills in three matches as the Lady Panthers went 1-2 in the Round-Up.

Shaw University defeated VUU 25-17, 25-19, 25-14 on October 31 while Saint Augustine's University defeated the Lady Panthers 18-25, 25-22, 26-24, 17-25, 15-12 on Sunday, November 1.

The Lady Panthers are now 8-12 overall and 6-6 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union returns home to face Bowie State University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
