Box Score Virginia Union University's Esha Atkins had 21 assists and four service aces as the Lady Panthers swept Bowie State University in volleyball 25-22, 25-14, 25-17 on Monday, October 12, in Bowie, Md.

VUU's Ambryanna Moore had nine kills while teammate Fernanda Faustino had eight kills in the match.

Virginia Union's Nicole Logan had eight defensive digs in the match.

The win evened VUU's record to 7-7 overall and 5-2 in the CIAA.  VUU is tied for second place in the Northern Division of the CIAA with Virginia State University, both of which have 3-1 divisional records.

Virginia Union now returns home to Barco-Stevens Hall to face Virginia State at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19.
