The members of Virginia Union University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee visited the Richmond Foodbank on Tuesday, January 27, in Richmond, Va.

The SAAC members and other volunteers worked on the Foodbank's BackPack Program where they,as a team, packed different types of food items for children who may not see a meal outside of school.

The SAAC members volunteered from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. and assembled 1040 bags, which exceeded their goal of 800 bags.
