Box Score Virginia Union University's Kristin Madison had 10 kills to power the Lady Panthers to a 25-16, 25-22, 25-21 sweep of Lincoln University on Thursday, September 18, in Lincoln University, Pa.

Madison's 10 kills came on 20 total attacks to give her a hitting percentage of .400 for the match.

VUU's Esha Atkins had 27 assists in the match while teammate Ellie Parsons had 19 defensive digs.

Atkins and Parsons each had three service aces against the Lady Lions.

The win raised VUU's record to 4-5 overall and 3-1 in CIAA play.  Lincoln drops to 1-5 overall and 0-4 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now returns home to face CIAA arch-rival Virginia State University on Monday, September 22, at 6:00 p.m. in Barco-Stevens Hall.
