Virginia Union University's Ray Anderson scored 23 points, but Glenville State College defeated VUU 73-70 on Tuesday, December 16, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Anderson hit 11-of-20 shots from the field.

VUU's Colton Lewis recorded a double-double, grabbing 10 rebounds and scoring 12 points in the game.

Virginia Union's Avery Jirmnson also scored 13 points for the Panthers.

The loss dropped VUU to 4-7 on the season while Glenville State is now 7-2.

Virginia Union is now off until Saturday, January 3, when the Panthers race Livingstone College at 4:00 p.m. in Barco-Stevens Hall.
