Box Score Virginia Union University's Chelsea Beaudoin had seven service aces while teammate Kristin Madison had 11 kills to lead the Lady Panthers to a 25-17, 25-18, 21-25, 25-14 on Monday, October 6, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Brittney Dobbins had 10 kills while Taylor Witherspoon had 17 defensive digs in the Lady Panthers' "Dig Pink" match.

Virginia Union's Esha Atkins had 30 assists and Ellie Parsons had 13 digs.

The win raised VUU's record to 8-9 overall and 7-3 in the CIAA.  The Lady Panthers' 3-1 Northern Division record has propelled VUU into a first-place tie with Chowan University and Elizabeth City State University in the CIAA North.

Bowie State dropped to 4-16 overall and 3-8 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now travels to Petersburg, Va., to play Virginia State University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13.
