Box Score Virginia Union University's Kristin Madison had 18 kills to lead the Lady Panthers to a 22-25, 25-17, 25-12, 25-14 win over Bowie State University on Monday, October 27, in Bowie, Md.

VUU's Ellie Parsons had 23 defensive digs and three service aces in the win.

Virginia Union's Esha Atkins had 29 assists and 11 digs and teammate Chelsea Beaudoin had 10 digs of her own.

The win raised VUU's record to 10-14 overall and 9-5 in CIAA play.  Bowie State fell to 6-20 overall and 3-12 in the CIAA.

The 10 wins are the most by a VUU volleyball team since the 2011 team won 11 games.

Virginia Union now returns home to face Saint Augustine's University in a non-conference match-up on Thursday, October 30, at 6:00 p.m. in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
