Box Score Virginia Union University said good-bye to three volleyball seniors as the Lady Panthers lost to Chowan University 25-19, 25-22, 25-16 in Barco-Stevens Hall on Friday, November 1, in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Shakia Mackey, Kierris Doyle and Allorie Sanders all played their final home game in their collegiate careers.

VUU's Kristin Madison had 11 kills while teammate Ellie Parsons had 17 defensive digs in the match.

Virginia Union's Esha Atkins had 25 assists while Sanders had 13 digs.

The loss dropped VUU to 7-12 on the season and 7-8 in CIAA play.  Chowan raised it's record to 15-6 overall and 14-1 in the CIAA.

VUU now travels to Elizabeth City, N.C., to face Elizabeth City State University in the 2013 regular season finale on Monday, November 4.
