Box Score Virginia Union University's Kierris Doyle had 10 defensive digs and five service aces as VUU downed Bowie State University 25-4, 25-16, 25-16 in women's volleyball on Monday, October 7, in Bowie, Md.

VUU's Kristin Madison had 10 kills while setter Esha Atkins had 16 assists.

The  win raised VUU's record to 5-8 overall and 5-5 in CIAA play.  Bowie State fell to 2-17 overall and 1-10 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now returns to the friendly confines of Historic Barco-Stevens Hall to face CIAA arch-rival Virginia State University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, in Richmond, Va.
