Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Virginia Union University's Kristin Madison had 17 kills and 23 digs, but Emory & Henry College defeated VUU 25-18, 25-16, 25-15 while Bridgewater College beat the Lady Panthers 25-18, 25-20, 25-22 in the Bridgewater College Classic, held on Saturday, October 5, in Bridgewater, Va.

In the opening match against Emory and Henry, Madison had 10 kills and eight digs.  VUU's Esha Atkins had 20 assists and 10 digs.  

In the night-cap, Madison had 10 kills and eight digs.  VUU's Allorie Sanders had 12 assists while teammate Ellie Parsons had 10 digs of her own.

The losses drop VUU to 4-8 on the season.  The Lady Panthers return to CIAA action when they travel to Bowie, Md., to meet Bowie State University at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7.
