Box Score Virginia Union University's Allorie Sanders had 20 defensive digs, while teammate Ellie Parsons had 18 digs of her own, but Elizabeth City State University outlasted VUU 25-20, 20-25, 25-23, 24-26, 15-11 in women's volleyball action in Barco-Stevens Hall on Thursday, October 3, in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Kristin Madison 19 kills while Sanders also had 14 kills.  VUU's Esha Atkins had 37 assists and 16 digs while Kierris Doyle had 10 digs.

Parsons also added four service aces in the game.

The loss dropped VUU to 4-6 overall and 4-5 in the CIAA.  Elizabeth City State is now 6-6 overall and 6-4 in the CIAA.

VUU now travels to Bridgewater, Va., to compete in the Bridgewater College Classic.  The Lady Panthers will meet Emory & Henry College and Bridgewater College on Saturday, October 5.
