Box Score Virginia Union University's Kristin Madison had 10 kills and three service aces as VUU swept Bowie State University 25-22, 25-15, 25-13 in women's volleyball action on Monday, October 28, in Historic Barco-Stevens Hall.

The night was highlighted by the Lady Panthers saluting the Sisters Network of Central Virginia, an African-American Breast Cancer Survivor-ship Organization as part of their "Dig Pink" night.

VUU's Esha Atkins had 33 assists while teammate Ellie Parsons had 13 defensive digs in the win.

VUU's Allorie Sanders also had nine kills and three aces in the match.

The win raised VUU's record to 7-10 overall and 7-6 in the CIAA.  Bowie State fell to 2-24 overall and 1-14 in CIAA play.

The Lady Panthers now travel to Ashland, Va., to meet Randolph-Macon College on Tuesday, October 29.
