Box Score Virginia Union University's Ellie Parsons had three service aces and 10 defensive digs, but Chowan University defeated the Lady Panthers 25-22, 25-17, 25-16 on Thursday, October 24, in Murfreesboro, N.C.

VUU's Allorie Sanders and Renesha Chiles also had 10 digs apiece.

Virginia Union's Esha Atkins recorded 13 assists in the three-game match.

The loss dropped VUU to 6-10 on the season and 6-7 in the CIAA.  Chowan is now 14-5 overall and 13-1 in the CIAA.

The Lady Panthers now return to Historic Barco-Stevens Hall to face Bowie State University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28.
