Box Score Virginia Union University's Kristin Madison had six kills, but Chowan University defeated VUU 25-12, 25-11, 25-12 on Monday, November 5, in Murfreesboro, N.C.

VUU's Demi Schrader had 11 assists while teammate Kierris Doyle had seven defensive digs.

The game was the regular-season finale for both teams.

The loss dropped VUU to 5-25 overall and 5-11 in the CIAA.  Chowan raised its record to 17-7 overall and 14-1 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union finishes the regular season in fourth place in the CIAA Northern Division.  The Lady Panthers will compete in the CIAA Volleyball Championships beginning on November 16 in Hampton, Va.
