Box Score Virginia Union University's Demi Schrader had 33 assists, but Elizabeth City State University defeated VUU 25-22, 21-25, 25-13, 26-24 on Wednesday, October 31, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

The match was the final home match of the 2012 season, and VUU saluted Schrader, who is the lone senior on the volleyball team, before the match.

VUU's Allorie Sanders had 10 kills and 13 defensive digs.  Virginia Union's Ellie Parsons had 15 digs in the match.

The loss dropped VUU to 5-24 overall and 5-10 in CIAA play.  Elizabeth City State is now 12-9 overall and 11-4 in the CIAA.

VUU now travels to Murfreesboro, N.C., to face Chowan University on Monday, November 5.
