Box Score Virginia Union University's Kristin Madison had 11 kills and two service aces to lead VUU to a 25-20, 25-13, 25-15 win over Bowie State University on Thursday, October 25, in Bowie, Md.

VUU's Renesha Chiles had four service aces while teammate teammate Demi Schrader had 31 assists in the win.

Virginia Union's Ellie Parsons also had nine defensive digs in the win.

The win raised VUU's record to 5-23 overall and 5-9 in the CIAA.  Virginia Union's 4-4 divisional record.  The Panthers will finish the 2012 season no lower than fourth in the Northern Division, thus securing a place for the team in the CIAA Volleyball Tournament, to be held November 16-18 at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton, Va.

Bowie State fell to 3-16 overall, 1-14 in CIAA play and 1-8 in Northern Division play.

VUU now returns home to Barco-Stevens Hall to meet Elizabeth City State University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29.
