Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 Virginia Union University's Kristal Woodard had 13 kills and 11 defensive digs to lead VUU to a 15-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-22 win over Johnson C. Smith University on the second day of the CIAA Volleyball Round-Up II on Sunday, September 30, in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The win was the first for the Lady Panthers during the CIAA Round-Ups this season.

VUU's Demi Schrader had 36 assists while Allorie Sanders had four service aces in the win.

On Saturday, September 29, Livingstone College had downed the Lady Panthers 25-20, 25-22, 25-20 and Winston-Salem State University had beaten VUU 23-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-23.

VUU's record is now 2-18 overall and 2-7 in CIAA play.

The Lady Panthers return home to face Bowie State University on Thursday, October 4, at 6:00 p.m. in Historic Barco-Stevens Hall.
