La'Angenise Kemp won the women's high jump with a leap of 1.62 meter at the Father Diamond Invitational, held at George Mason University on Saturday, January 7.
Kemp's win was the best individual performance by a Lady Panther on the day.

Brittany Abraham placed fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 11.30 meters and then placed sixth in the long jump with a jump of 5.23 meters.

Johniqua Porter placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.25 while teammate
Tamara Gillard was eighth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 3:31.26.
Tamara's sister and teammate, Savannah Gillard, was ninth in the 1,000-meters with a time of 3:33.64 while Kearistan Jones was nineth in the shot put with a throw of 9.75 meters.
VUU's
G'Ana Robinson was 11th in the 60 meters with a time of 8.05.
VUU now travels to Chapel Hill, N.C., to compete in the Dick Taylor Invitational, to be held on the campus of the University of North Carolina on January 13th and 14th.
